6-foot-4 170-pound right-handed pitcher. He was very impressive on this particular day and this was my first time seeing him throw. The frame projects, the arm is clean and he showed a feel for all 3 pitches. The lift is solid in tempo, feet are online and the slot is slightly above 3/4 in height. The fastball sat 83-84 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch was 70-71 mph and trending up as more fastball hand speed can be added to the pitch. The changeup is still developing. He showed a feel for repeating and throwing strikes. Big and good looking prospect for me.

6-foot-3, 170-pound, thin athletic frame, squared off shoulders, longer limbs, with plenty of room for added weight gains and strength. A right-handed pitcher, working from the set position, hands start and stay at chest high. The lift is high and quick, upper half is tilted back, could be more vertical in gather position. Lands across the body, cuts off the finish. The arm action is clean on the back, average length, working out of a higher 3/4 slot, pitching downhill. The fastball was consistently 84-85 mph for the outing living on arm side part of the plate. The breaking ball was clocked at 70-73 mph, showing tight spin, will get more out of it if he can clean lower half direction up. The changeup is still a work in progress, thrown at 78-81, thrown harder, a tweak in finger placement, will create more separation off the fastball. The arm has another jump in there with velocity, big follow for me.
