5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and pitcher. Ran a 4.68 down the line on his dig to first base. Threw 73 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The arm works free and clean. The glove works, and the prep steps to and through the ball need to be factored in. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, hands relaxed to start. The path is long and uphill at times, although, he does make a concerted effort to stay inside the ball at contact. The hands are loose, so any adjustments to be made should be easy in the future. Good athlete.
5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. On the mound, the fastball touched 71 mph. The spin pitch is 61 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup is developing, sat at 65 mph. The delivery is online with his feet, the slot is above ¾. The lift is methodical, coil at the top of the lift and then he makes his way to the plate. The alignment of the top half is done properly. The arm swing is clean on the backside, ball comes out near his ear on the front side. Threw 73 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The glove and feet are solid. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The stance is even in base, gets solid hand separation to initiate the swing. The path is clean through the ball and he shows the ability to find the barrel with every swing. Ran a 6.99 sixty at the event. Solid showing.
