Luke Gallo: SS/2B, (2025) Phillips Academy Andover, MA. Boston College Commit, 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic solid frame. Above average during batting practice, Gallo's best exit velocity was 98 mph. (77.2 mph bat speed average). (22.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a short loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 87 mph; has a natural exchange, athletic feet, and soft twitchy hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick short arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.08.
Gallo is a talented, athletic 5-foot-10, 165 pound right-handed hitting middle infield prospect. He hits out of a balanced, even stance with the hands relaxed off the back shoulder. During his round, Gallo showed real pop, a balanced stroke and great hands. Defensively, Gallo is athletic. His feet are light, he moves well laterally with soft hands and the arm is strong.
