Leo Lyons: LHP/1B, (2025) Archbishop Williams, MA. 6-foot-3, 165-pound projectable athletic build. Projectable and athletic at the plate, Lyons recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. (70.4 mph bat speed average). (21.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph; showed developing athletic feet, developing soft hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were developing athletiallyc and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Clocked a time of 8.0 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable athletic on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a clean loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance l point is tall with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 77-80 mph with a max of 81 mph; had control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2297; Avg 2120). Shows glove side around the zone control and sweeping action on his curveball (67-69). (Max spin 2347; Avg 2262).
