Fischesser is a 5-foot-10, 180 pound right-handed hitting infield prospect. The stance is athletic, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The load is a knee slide and a pushing of the hands into the launch position. The bat-path has some lift and produced a max exit velocity of 87 MPH during the batting practice. He finishes through contact and remains balanced throughout the swing.
Defensively, he was 72 MPH across the diamond. The feetwork is methodical as he works to break down into a balanced fielding position. The glove is relaxed out in front, with the top hand in a good position. Once the play is made, he uses a high arm-swing to work the ball across the infield and finishes through the play.
On the mound, the delivery has quieted down from last year. He gets to a good balance point with his weight stacked over the backside, allowing him to separate and create good direction down the mound. The fastball sits 73-76 MPH out of a short, high arm slot, producing some late sink. The breaking ball was 60-61 MPH with a good 12 to 6 break. Fischesser also mixed in a nice change-up at 63-65 MPH.

5-foot-9, 180-pound, strong, thick athletic frame. A right-handed hitting two-way player. At the plate, feet are even, hands are set lower. quiet, with a tilted setup. The swing is short to contact, hands are inside the baseball, with a middle to opposite field approach. The finish is with two hands, could get through it a tick longer, cuts it off at times. The exit velocity was at 80 mph, line drive approach. For timing uses a small toe tap, gains a good amount of ground, helps aid in power. Defensively, worked at 1st base, feet work around the bag, moving quickly. The glove is soft out front, showed feel for picking the baseball at throws. The arm action is short and clean, working with easy effort, clocked at 67 mph. Will need to add additional strength over time. Off the mound, pounded the zone with a two pitch mix. The delivery, is simple, hands start and stay at chest high, easy athletic lift wit coil. The arm works from a 3/4 slot, showing arm side run to his fastball, clocked at 70 mph. Rolled the breaking ball in at 57 mph, will need to add fastball hand speed to this pitch. Overall conditioning is a must, time will tell which way he will go.

On the mound, I like the arm potential. The delivery is a bit quick. But he gets balanced over the backside and has good direction toward home plate. The fastball sat 67-68 mph, with some sink. He also showed the feel for a change-up that was 58-59 mph and a breaking pitch, with good spin at 54 mph.
I like the potential with this young player. On the mound, the arm has a chance to really develop. The arm-swing is fluid and quick.
