Rauktis is a 5-foot-7, 189 pound right-handed pitching prospect. He uses a simple, controlled delivery to get to a good balance point. He separates well at the top and uses a long, quick, over-the-top arm-swing to produce a fastball that sits 79-81 MPH with some late run. His direction is consistent, finishing over his front leg. Rauktis also featured a harder breaking ball at 70-71 MPH, with late break and tight spin.
Rauktis is a talented arm. The delivery is simple, consistent and allows the arm to work freely. As he continues to work and develop, his velocity should continue to climb.
