Potential two-way prospect, as he swung the bat for the first time with us. At the plate, he is long and strong to the ball. He will hammer average pitching. Tee exit velocity of 91. Sets up with even stance and throws the barrel with hand strength. The path is long and flat to the ball. Hammered a double in the game. Ran a 5.1 down the line on a dig to first base. On the mound, pitched 2 days prior to the event, touched 84 mph with his fastball out of a ¾ arm slot. The spin is a frisbee like breaking ball, that I like, sat at 74 mph. Throws a legit knuckle ball at 74 mph as well. Needs to track his shoulders a little better in his delivery, spins off too much as he delivers the ball. With some small adjustments his velocity should jump into the upper-80s as the arm is fast.

Right-handed pitcher who we were fortunate enough to see a second time. His stuff is plus and he could fill a multitude of roles at the next level. The fastball has life and touched 84-85 mph. The breaking ball is slurvy and has a good plane to it. The spin pitch sat at 71-72 mph. Showed a slider as well, which was not much different than his slurve. Showed a legit knuckle ball which got to 75 mph. It is nasty to say the least. Would like to see it in a game. The delivery involves a high leg kick and some spin off but he accelerates his arm aggressively. Threw a bunch of strikes and was confident with his stuff. Keep an eye on his progress as he is a good one.

Big and physical right-handed pitcher. Slot is ¾ and long and loose on the backside. Shows good arm whip, leading you to believe there will be spike in velocity during the spring. The fastball sits in the low-80s now and he shows a very good slurvy breaking ball at 73 mph. The slurve is an out pitch in high school and with a slight velocity jump in the spin pitch, it could be in college as well. Threw a decent knuckle ball at 73 mph as well. The delivery is simple with a even waist leg lift and proper leg drive to the plate. 1.02 to the plate in the stretch. Looking forward to seeing him pitch in the spring as he has a quick arm and a big durable body to go with the arm speed.
