6-foot-3, 225-pound right-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. I thought he swung the bat extremely well at the event, tee exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is long and strong to contact, as he hammers the baseball. The feet are solid around first and he handles the glove. He threw 76 mph across the diamond. On the mound, the fastball touched 76 mph, minimal arm side run. The spin pitch is 65-66 mph, big in shape. The changeup showed solid fade and is still developing. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The direction of the top half is solid and the lift is repeated, small coil at the top. I like him as a hitter.
