Landman is a 5-foot-10, 155 pound right-handed pitching prospect. The physical right-hander works solely out of the stretch. He stays balanced throughout his delivery and creates good, consistent direction with home plate. The arm is quick and works out of a higher arm slot, creating run on a fastball that sits 78-80 mph. The breaking ball showed well. There was tight side to side spin and ranged 65-67 mph. He also flashed a change-up with good action in the 71-73 mph range.
Landerman is a good looking young arm. He showed the arm-speed that with more development should add velocity and the breaking ball is a plus secondary pitch.

Threw 74 from the outfield. The feet work to get into a good fielding position. The glove is in the correct position, allowing for a nice transition to the throwing position. The arm swing is from a high slot and extends through his throw in line with the target. At the plate, the tee exit velocity was 75 mph. The stance begins slightly open and uses a quick leg lift to stride. The hands push back as the swing starts and gets to contact on a flat plane. The extension is elevated and stays well through contact. On the mound, the delivery is deliberate. The pivot to the balance point is a side step. There is a pause on the back side with the arm before delivering to the plate from a high over the top slot. The fastball was 74 mph with some arm side run. The curveball is a work in progress and came in at 57 mph. The changeup had nice action at 64 mph. This is a simple delivery and the arm swing is in line. I’m looking forward to seeing him progress.
