Jake Bartlett: C/RHP, (2024) Undecided, MA. 5-foot-9, 165-pound sturdy frame. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was above average, used a short swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 71 mph. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 75 mph during throw downs; had a quick exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Had a pop time of 2.03-2.19. Quiet setup with average flexibility. Showed a low ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the bag.

Defense: (C) 2.03-2.19 pop times. Sure hands, consistent footwork, quick exchange. Projectable. Average flexibility and quiet setup.
Arm: 71 mph infield velocity. 75 mph catcher velocity. Low ¾ slot, decent accuracy.
5-foot-7, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher, infielder and pitcher. Defensively behind the dish he threw 68 mph with a pop time of 2.27. The feet need to continue to quicken and improve during the transfer. The receiving is developing, securing the catch needs to develop. In the infield, he threw 68 mph across the diamond. The feet need to stay active during the fielding process, the glove showed well. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is long and flat to contact. The hands work nicely to the ball, uses a 1-handed finish after contact.
