3.10.2018
6-foot-3, 250-pound right-handed pitcher. Much improved right-hander. The fastball touched 82 mph, arm side run and he showed command of the pitch. The spin pitch sat at 70 mph, good in shape. The changeup is a nice pitch for him, sat at 73 mph. The delivery is online with his feet, slot is above ¾. The frame is big and durable. The lift is repeated, slight forward lean to the plate. The glove comes across the hitter’s face. The tracking of the front shoulder is done properly and he is trending upward. The secondary stuff has really improved since the last time we saw him. Keep an eye on this guy cause the stuff is getting better and he pounds the strike zone.

6-foot-4, 250-pound right-handed pitcher, who pitched at the event with a foot injury. Did a nice job on the bump. The fastball touched 80 mph and showed arm side run to it. The breaking pitch touched 72 mph, small in depth and showed well at times. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 68 mph. The delivery comes at you online with his feet and does a very good job of controlling the glove. The tracking of the front shoulder to footstrike can improve as it comes off target. The arm works well, the frame is big and durable. Threw strikes throughout the outing. Did swing the bat at the event, tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The set up is wide with his feet and the bottom half of the swing is under control throughout. The path to the ball is long and strong, uses a 1-hand finish after contact.
