Jacob Schwartz: RHP/2B, (2026) Nashoba Regional, MA. 5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic lean frame. Projectable and athletic at the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. (66.8 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a narrow balanced stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 69 mph; has developing athletic feet, developing soft hands, and a natural clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic, developing and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.25 at the event. Capable on the mound, used a short consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 72-73 mph; had command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2270; Avg 2169). Shows sweeping action and glove side command on his curveball (63-65). (Max spin 2300; Avg 2119).
