Jackson Logan: LHP/OF, (2027) Cushing Academy, MA. 6-foot, 150-pound lean athletic frame. Athletic and projectable in the box, Logan recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (68.7 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed was developing, had a loose swing plane and a front foot finish. Had loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic projectable in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 80 mph; showed developing hands, a natural clean exchange, and athletic developing feet. Movements laterally were developing athletically and he fields the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 8.1 in the 60-yard dash. Athletic projectable on the mound, showed quick above average arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; had control arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 1977; Avg 1859). His curveball (67-68) showed sweeping action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 2027; Avg 2027).
