Cape Cod: Big-bodied righty (6-5/245), and he was a linchpin of the Hyannis bullpen this summer, posting a 0.52 ERA in 18.1 innings. His four-pitch arsenal includes an 89-91 fastball that bumps 92 with unremarkable spin rates in the 2100-2200s; a big sweeping slider at 74-77 that he’s very comfortable dropping into the zone in any count; a solid cutter in the mid-80s and a swing-and-miss changeup at 82, all coming out of a low three-quarters slot.

6-foot-6, 230-pound right-handed pitcher. The movements are athletic and he repeats his delivery. The slot is slightly above 3/4 and works freely during the process. The tracking of the front shoulder is done well, and the direction of his feet are online. The effort is easy and the ball comes out nicely.
