The setup is wide in base, uses a toe tap as the ball approaches him. The path is thick, hands need to be freed up to maneuver the barrel head more appropriately. On the mound, he showed extremely well. Pitched out of the stretch, online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The lift has coil and the glove side is loose as he gets into foot strike. The arm works well and he shows all 3 pitches in the zone. All 3 pitches are above average at his age. The fastball sat 78-79 with minimal arm side action. The spin pitch is slurvy, 63-64 mph. The changeup spin is wide but the velocity is correct, sitting at 64-65 mph. Solid prospect on the mound.
