Hit: (LHH) Above average. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a closed short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, flat loose swing. Aggressive approach.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity. 62.95 mph bat speed average. 19.81 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Soft hands, smooth athletic footwork, clean natural exchange. Above average. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.
Hansen is a projectable, physical 6-foot, 190 pound left-handed hitting two-way prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance with the hands set off the back shoulder. The load begins with a leg lift to stack the weight over the back leg and a pushing back of the hands. The swing is flat, and quick through the hitting zone producing a lot of hard contact and a max exit velocity of 94 MPH.
Defensively, Hansen was 84 MPH across the diamond. The feet move well as he works to break down into a fundamental fielding position. He fields the ball off the glove side foot and transitions well into the throwing position. The arm is quick and he finishes well through the play.
On the mound, Hansen shows a quick arm and an increase in velocity. The delivery is compact and he collects over the back leg. As he separates and heads down the mound, there’s a leg swing that occasionally causes him to bail out to the third base side. The arm works out of a higher arm-slot, allowing the fastball that sits 83-84 MPH to have heavy sink. The breaking ball was 69-70 MPH has tight spin, with downward tilt. He also mixed in a change-up at 72-74 MPH with similar action as the fastball.
Hansen continues to progress on the mound. The velocity has seen an uptick since the summer and the secondary stuff is getting better. He also shows better footwork around first base and the bat has juice.

6-foot, 180-pound left-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting first baseman. He ran a 7.9 sixty at the event. The feel around the bag at first base is very good, as he moves his feet well and showed a reliable glove. The arm is clean, throwing 82 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The front foot closes down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long to contact and he shows a knack of find the barrel with the ball more often than not. On the mound, the fastball sat 80-82 mph with arm side action to the fastball. The spin pitch was 69-71 mph and solid in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated, shows back arch as he makes his way into foot strike. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to improve as he matures in age.

6-foot, 180-pound, average athletic frame, strong solid build for his age, already filling out. A left-handed hitting first baseman, at the plate, front foot starts slightly open, gets back to even on stride foot. The lower half is under control, uses a smooth higher leg kick. The hands are quiet at shoulder height, a tilted setup, is loaded up on foot strike. The swing is level to up, more of a pull approach, could stay through it a tick longer, small spin off at times, when behind on contact baseball is driven well. The exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph and ran a 7.81 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, fields out front, glove is soft, needs to gather with two hands more, easy fix with reps. Keeps feet moving through transfer. The arm action is shorter working from a higher slot, clocked at 77 mph, showing good strength for his age/grade. Moves well off and around the bag. Interesting left-handed hitter.

The 6-foot, 180 pound left-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. He hits out of an open, slightly crouched stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The load begins with a leg kick and a push back of the hands. The swing is flat to and through contact.
Defensively, he was 75 mph across the diamond. The feet are deliberate in moving to get into the fielding position. As he breaks down, he fields the ball off the glove side foot and transitions into the throwing position. The arm-swing is clean and he stays in line with the throwing target.
On the mound, there is some serious arm talent, with a frame that is already physical.. The delivery is compact and he collects over the back leg. As he works down the mound there is a bit of a leg swing to get the hips in line with the plate. He uses a higher arm-slot to get some heavy sink with a fastball that sat 72-76 mph. The secondary stuff featured a slider with tight spin at 63 mph, a bigger curveball at 60 mph and a change-up at 62 mph with good sinking action.
I am excited to see how he progresses. This is a physical left-hander that has a nice skill set as a two way guy. But the arm has a chance to be really good!

The path is uphill, needs to get the backside more involved in the swing. The hands work freely. On the mound, the delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The arm works free and clean. The lift is repeated, small coil at the top as he makes his way into foot strike. The tracking of the front shoulder needs alignment as he spins through his delivery at an early age. The fastball sits 74-75 mph, with arm side action. The breaking ball is big in action, sitting 63-64 mph. The changeup is a work in progress, sits 62-64 mph. Good looking skill set for a 2023 graduate, a few small adjustments would aid his development big time.
