He threw 75 mph across the diamond. The foot speed is going to have tom improve or he will have to kick over to first base. The bat has an exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot is picked up and put down as the swing is initiated. The hands work freely to the ball. The path is long to contact.

The swing is level through the zone, stays on it, and finishes above the shoulders. The approach is field to field, took a solid round of batting practice, spraying the baseball all over. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph, ball jumps off the bat. Ran a 4.34 from home to 1st. Defensively, threw and easy 75 mph across the diamond, arm action is super clean and easy. The hands are soft, fields out front, moves well to both sides, good rhythm and flow. The starts and turns were performed correctly. Off the mound, slower deliberate delivery, working from the set position. The lead leg lands slightly across the frame, with some early tuck with glove side, could stay more direct longer. The arm action is whippy from a 3/4 slot, showing good hand speed from the side view. The fastball was clocked at 76 mph, located to both sides town in the zone. This is a very simple swing that showed consistent kind drive capability. He also ran 4.8 second home to first at the event. In the infield, he is active pre pitch. The feet are moving and he gets into a good ready position. Once the ball is hit, the actions are fluid to the baseball. He breaks down into a good fielding position. The glove is relaxed and in a good position. He also showed the ability to move laterally and get good angles. The transition to the throwing position is good and he was 73 mph across the diamond. On the mound, he works primarily out of the stretch. As he comes set he closes off and the glove comes to the midline. As he makes his way down the mound he falls hard to the first base side, causing some misses high to the arm side. The fastball was 73-76 mph and stays in line.
