5-foot-11, 180-pound, average, strong physical athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, arms are long, has room to add weight on and to fill out. A right-handed hitter, stance is balanced, feet are wider than shoulder width, are even, hands are loose held just at shoulder height. For timing, uses a small stride, lower half is under control, backside is driven to front side, hands and weight stay back on contact. The swing is level to up, its loose and has some whip out front on contact, finishes with one hand, approach is more to pull side. The tee exit velocity reached 86 mph, took two solid rounds of batting practice. The swing gets a tick uphill and leans back at times, stay through it all the way. Defensively, worked out from behind the plate, feet work well and are quick, right foot replaces left, glides with good rhythm during transfer. The arm works out of a higher slot, has strength to hit, gets a little long on the back side, could shorten a tick, will help with times. Pop times were 2.13-2.19, throws were on the bag, showed quick feet as well and good timing on throws to third base. Good looking prospect, chance to hit with some power at some point, runs well for a catcher had a sixty-yard dash at 7.18..
