6-foot-2, 195-pound, large, long athletic frame, the neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has room for future development. A right-handed hitter, the stance is open to even, feet are shoulder width apart, and sits in a small crouch. The hands are loose, set at shoulder height. The swing is loose with some whip out front with the barrel. The swing path is level to up and finishes it with two hands. The approach was more middle to pull. Shows to have some strength and lift in the swing, tee exit velocity was at 79 mph. Defensively, has good prep steps, leads into soft hands and good flow into release of the baseball. The arm action is longer on the backside, is clean through the release. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, showed good touch on throws, the feeds on double plays were good. Off the mound, has a simple smooth repeatable delivery, has tempo and timing to it. The hands work in sync with leg raise, gets squared up to the plate on release. Pounded the zone with all pitches. The fastball was clocked at 75-77 mph with some sink to the arm side. The breaking ball acts more like a slower slider, clocked at 59-61 mph. Projects more of a corner infielder down the road.
