A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.

Dorian Fortes 6-foot, 145-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting outfielder. A very good looking athlete, as the limbs are long and the frame projects. On the mound, he shows a clean delivery, repeated leg lift and direction to the plate. The arm is quick and long. The fastball has good life and he shows the makings of a solid breaking ball. At the plate, the setup is wide, small pick and put down of the front foot to initiate the swing. The hands are clean, drop some during the load and the swing is uphill. He shows good athleticism in the outfield and a strong arm
