5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He ran very well at the event, 6.97 on the laser. The defense was solid, throwing 76 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.95. The throwing is simple and the feet work quickly. The receiving is solid, he can still continue to improve on securing the catch. The bat has an exit velocity of 93 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains minimal ground as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is flat and simple, slight cut off after contact with the baseball. The bat has wiggle but the barrel head gets through the zone, The arms are short, making hitting easy for him.

Secures the pitch, gets behind the baseball, hands are strong on the catch. At the plate, starts slightly open, more of a pick up and put down with stride foot. The hands are loose with a little flick of the barrel in the loading phase. The swing is level to up, more of a pull approach, showing plus bat speed for his age and size, clocked at 91 mph. A good runner for a catcher at 7.22, good athlete, a must see.

Moved athletically during the fielding process, needs to keep the feet moving. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing. The hands work free and clean. The path to the ball is flat and simple to contact. Good looking player.
