8/26/20

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder. He has turned himself into a very good prospect in the 2023 class. He ran a 7.18 sixty at the event. The approach to the baseball in the infield is on point and athletic. The feet remain active and he showed soft hands throughout the fielding of the baseball. He threw 82 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The hands work free and clean producing a flat path through contact with the baseball. The frame can fill out with strength as he matures, should be a very good player throughout his high school years. '

INF Velocity- 82 mph

The 5-foot-11, 152 pound right-handed hitting infielder is a good looking prospect.  Has some pop in his swing, as evident by his 84 mph tee exit velocity.  The set up is balanced and the load is quiet.  The bat path is direct and gets extended through contact.  Also ran a 7.2 sixty at the event.Defensively, he is very athletic in the middle of the diamond. The feet are light and the hands work. The arm was 76 mph across the diamond, the arm is clean and free. On the mound, the arm is loose out of a ¾ slot.  The fastball sits 74-77mph with late arm side run.  The breaking pitch is 12 to 6 and ranged 63-71 mph.  The change-up was 70-74 mph and has good action.  Looks to be another good secondary pitch.I like his athleticism and projectability.  This is a guy to keep an eye on.

Tee Exit Velocity- 84 mph
INF Velocity- 76 mph

5-foot-10, 145-pound right-handed pitcher and middle infielder. The actions were athletic and aggressive throughout the workout. The glove is soft and he is active with his feet as he moves through the ball. The arm is clean, threw 74 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph, as physical strength gains are the key to his development. The setup is wide in base, front foot gains distance to the ball as the swing is initiated. The path is long to contact, strength related. The extension after contact is good. The hands work freely and the frame can add pounds, interesting follow as a positional player. On the mound, the fastball touched 77 mph, arm side action to the pitch. The breaking ball is big in shape, sitting at 62 mph. The pitch needs additional fastball hand speed to it. The slider is 66-67 mph, correct in shape and should progress nicely. The changeup is 67-69 mph, solid in action. The delivery is online with the feet and 3/4 in slot. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be aligned as he comes offline prior to foot strike. With better alignment, comes better extension. The arm works well and it's loose. Solid skill set across the board.

Tee Exit Velocity - 78 mph
INF Velocity - 74 mph

JUNIOR FUTURES
5-foot-9, 135-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. On the mound, the fastball sat 70-72, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The breaking ball sat 59-61 mph. The changeup is 61-63 mph and he also showcased the makings of a good slider at 63-66 mph. Positionally, ran a 8.06 sixty on the laser at the event. The actions in the infield are very good, the feet work and the glove is soft. Threw 72 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 74 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half as the ball approaches. The path is long to the ball, the hands work freely throughout. Strength in the frame and weight should put him in good position as he matures, solid foundation as it currently stands.
