6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and right-handed pitcher. On the mound, the big right-hander showed good leverage to a fastball that touched 81 mph. The spin pitch needs more fastball hand speed to it, sat at 66 mph. The delivery is pitched out of a slot higher than ¾, the arm works cleanly. The tracking of the front shoulder is offline, taking him away from home plate. The glove side sweeps across the hitters face and pulls him off target. Defensively, shows proper footwork and awareness around the bag at first base. The glove is solid and he has no issues playing first base. Threw 78 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.68 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat is left-handed, tee exit velocity of 84 mph. Had 3 hits in the game. The setup is wide with his fee, the hands come through the zone on the low end of it, making the path long and flat to the ball. The front foot gains distance to the ball as it approaches. Solid athlete and interesting to follow.
Tee Exit Velocity- 84 mph
INF Velocity - 78 mph
6-foot-3, 180-pound, large, long, athletic frame, has a ton of room to fill out and put weight and mass on. A left-handed hitter, the stance is wide, feet are even, hands are loose and set at shoulder height, bat starts in a flat position. The swing is flat through the zone, finishes high with two hands, hands roll late, stays through it all the way. The approach is from gap to gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, showed to have good strength in the hands and wrists. Defensively, is a solid target to throw to at first base. The footwork is good around the bag, gets off the bag, feet and hands work well together. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, has a longer path to it, clocked at 77 mph. Off the mound, has simple, balanced delivery. The hands start and stay high. The separation is on time, bends at belly just so slightly loses some leverage. The finish is out front, fastball was clocked at 76-78 mph, breaking ball was at 63-65 mph, showed proper spin and shape to it, came out of the same slot as fastball. The changeup was clocked at 73 mph. Pounded the zone with all three pitches, look for the velocity to climb. Projects for me more off the mound, good looking arm.

6-foot-3,180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and right-handed pitcher. The glove is solid at first base as he moves around well at the bag. Threw 73 mph across to third base during the workout, more appropriate prep steps to catch and throw will help his leverage to throw. At the plate, hits from the left-side, tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The feet are even to start the swing and active throughout, as being more in control of his feet will help him develop offensively. The swing is flat to the ball and strong through contact. There is recoil after contact with the barrel. Showed good athleticism, running a 4.04 thirty. On the mound, the right-hander touched 76 mph with his fastball, which has arm side run to it. The 2-seam showed excellent sink and action. The breaking ball needs more fastball hand speed to it, sitting at 62 mph. The changeup is usable, sitting at 67 mph. The direction and tracking of the delivery are good as he stays with his arm. The frame projects and the arm is a ¾ angle. Great deal to like as his best days are ahead of him with the bat and on the bump.
