Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
60 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.72
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Cole Miller: 1B/RHP, (2025) Pope Francis Prep, CT. 6-foot-1, 168-pound lean athletic frame. Above average in the box, Miller recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. (65.4 mph bat speed average). (19.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a narrow tall stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is electric, displays a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contacts. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 76 mph; showed a quick exchange, athletic smooth feet, and soft next level hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot and a long loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.72 at the event.

Cole Miller: 1B/RHP, (2025) East Catholic, CT. 6-foot-1, 160-pound long athletic build. Raw projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. (62.0 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic tall stance with a rhythmic active load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed is electric, uses a loose upward swing plane and high finish. During his round he produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 67 mph; had soft hands, a natural exchange, and in control footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.67. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with upright an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 64-65 mph. had both sides of the plate control. (Max spin 1742; Avg 1596). Has early action and glove side control on his 1/7 curveball (57-58). (Max spin 1711; Avg 1585).

6-foot-145-pound, longer, slim athletic frame, having plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitter, taller stance, using a toe-tap for timing. The swing works with minimal effort, loose and free through the zone. The path is level through the zone, finishing higher with one hand. The approach is from gap to gap, took a solid round of batting practice, exit only at 78 mph, has a ton more in there. Defensively, showed good feet around the bag, good clean drop steps, with proper foot alignment on receiving the baseball. The glove is soft working from the ground up. The arm action is longer and clean, clocked at 61 mph across the diamond. All mechanics are sound, will need to add weight and muscle mass to frame.
