Chase Beach: RHP/1B, (2024) Nauset Regional, MA. 6-foot, 200-pound sturdy frame. (68.5 mph bat speed average). (16.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a strong stance with a smooth load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was explosive, displayed a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Advanced in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 81 mph; showed twitchy soft hands, a clean fluid exchange, and smooth consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were quick. Using a compact arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the base from athletic slot. Advanced on the mound, showing above average arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a very quick arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses decent effort. In line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands hard with a clean finish. (Max spin 2239; Avg 2010).
