6-foot, 190-pound, strong thick, athletic frame, put together well, strength throughout. A two-way player, showed well off the mound, delivery is quick, hands are high in the gather position, builds momentum down the mound. The arm action is clean, working from different slots. The fastball was clocked int he mid 70's, living down in the zone, creates ground balls. At the plate, hits from the left side, even feet, controlled lower half. The hands are loose set slightly higher than shoulder height. Swing is level through the zone, more of a pull approach, shows to have some raw juice, had a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. From the outfield, threw 77 mph, ball comes out well with carry and life to all throws. Transfer is quick using more of a shuffle. Projects for me more off the mound at the next level.
Tee Exit Velocity: 81 mph Arm Velocity: 77 mph Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.38
6/27/18
5-foot-10, 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Ran a 7.30 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 76 mph from the outfield as his play out there is athletic and aggressive. Solid play defensively and he plays hard. The ability to play the corner spots is present. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The set up is even in base, high back elbow to start the swing. The bottom half has a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The arms are short allowing him to maneuver the bat well, simple flat path. Needs to accelerate through the ball and not cut off his swing. Solid player.
