McGee is a left-handed pitching prospect. He uses a simple delivery, creating good balance and a direct line to home plate. The fastball sits 77-81 MPH out of a long ¾ arm slot, producing some arm side run. The breaking ball has a slurvey shape and sat 60-63 MPH. He also showed the feel for a change-up at 69-70 MPH. The development is trending up as he has improved every time we see him. The frame is slender and long, as he should make a velocity jump in the coming years. He is a good follow.

The 6-foot-2, 165 pound left-handed hitting 1st baseman had a tee exit velocity of 75 mph. But during the BP he showed some real juice. The initial set up is squatty and spread. The load is quiet and gets into a strong position to hit. The bat path is direct and generated a lot of hard contact. The ability is there for this to be a good tool.Defensively, the athleticism shows as a corner infielder. The feet move well and the hands are soft. The arm action is clean and was 71 mph across the infield. He also ran a7.5 sixty. On the mound, this lanky left-hander shows a quick arm. The fastball was 75-77mph with good action. The breaking was slervy and still looks to be a work in progress at 60-62mph. The change-up is a very good secondary pitch! The action was late and the velocity was 66-68mph.I think there is potential as both a hitter and on the mound. The arm is quick and his change-up is a very good secondary pitch. At the plate, there is some real juice potential.

6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. Positionally, threw 70 mph across the diamond from first to third. The feet and glove are solid around the bag, and he is a big, lanky target. The swing has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph, the frame needs to add weight and strength. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches. The hands work freely, the path needs to be flattened through the zone. On the mound, the fastball sits 74 -76 mph with arm side action. The spin pitch is 60-61 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup is 64 mph, needs a spin fix as it cuts. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The arm is long and loose, the direction of the front shoulder needs to stay online longer. The glove is posted and maintained properly. Guy to watch, as he gets stronger he should be interesting on the mound.

6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 76-78 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 66-68 mph, showed good depth to the pitch. The changeup is 68-69 mph, needs a spin fix as it spins the wrong way. The delivery is online and above 3/4 in slot. The frame is long and lanky, additional weight gain and strength will aid his development. Looks to be trending up with his stuff. The tracking of the front shoulder is online and he stays online to the catcher. The post foot is on top of the rubber, needs to be posted in front of the rubber. There is deception to the hitter as his arms and legs make it hard to pick up the ball. The upside is big with this arm, good follow for college coaches.
