3/16/24
6'2" 180 lbs. long, lean, and athletic frame. It's easy to see why he doubles as a wide receiver on the gridiron each fall for the Chiefs. The uncommitted junior took several QAB's on Saturday against Benton, but had little to show for it until the last inning. He worked a seven pitch first at-bat and flew out to centerfield, before lining out right at the left fielder in his second at-bat. Williams then lined out at the right fielder in his third at-bat, before coming to the plate with 1 out and a runner on 1st in the bottom of the 8th with the score tied at 0-0. The uncommitted junior jumped all over the first pitch that he saw to hit a walk-off double down the left field line to seal the Chiefs 1-0 extra-inning win over Benton.
