Fires off a clean stroke with solid bat speed and a flat, on plane path producing an exit velocity of 86 mph. Solid defender in the outfield with deliberate actions, controlled footwork and clean exchanges into a high-¾ release with accuracy. Posted a positional velocity of 81 mph. Solid athlete, ran a 7.16 second 60-yard dash.
Gavyn Menard: OF/RHP, (2022) Southside, LA. 5-foot-9, 145-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick before his swing. Displays quick bat speed, an uphill swing plane and extension on his finish. Pull side approach. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 78 mph. He clocked a time of 7.17 in the 60-yard dash.
