Due to the lack of a true position, the left handed slugger isn't a high priority prospect, but the man can hit, and hit with power. Jobert went 4-for-6 at the plate with two home runs and nine RBI, ALL on Saturday, missing the cycle by a single. His routes in right field were circuitous and he showed a near average arm. But, again, he can hit and that skill does have draft value, even if in the form of a likely DH. Jobert is currently batting .270 and is second on the Tigers in both home runs (17) and RBI (55).
A bat first prospect, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound the lefty slugger belted 16 HR with 71 RBI and a .374 average for Delgado last spring. Jobert projects to hit in the middle of the lineup and play a combination of first base, left field and DH for the Tigers.
A 6-foot, 180-pound infielder with a strong, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 75 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half and balance. Line-drive, gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 88 mph. Also posted a 7.51 60-yard dash.
