12/17/16 - Max FB: 85, FB: 83-84, CB: 68-70, CH: 74-75
6-foot-0, 165-pound RHP showed similar velocity as he did in the fall. Arm has some quickness and works through a high-3/4 slot with long arm action, normal effort in delivery, pounds the zone with three pitches, located fastball down in the zone with some arm-side run and sink, curveball has sharp 11/5 action thrown for strikes, changeup is thrown with good arm speed and mimics the action on his fastball providing good deception. Adams remains a top uncommitted arm in the 2017 class.
10/2/16 - Max FB: 85, FB: 80-84, CB: 66-69,
6-foot-0, 165-pound, RHP is fairly athletic on the mound and uses his lanky frame to his advantage, consistent rhythm through his delivery and stays balanced throughout, longer arm action comes through a high ¾ slot and stays fairly loose, strides in line and finishes with regular effort and square to the plate. Fastball and curveball were both thrown for strikes as we saw 11/5 shape on the latter. Impressive outing included 4 strikeouts in his 2 innings, while allowing 1 hit and 2 walks. Adams continues to improve each time we see him as both his pitchability and velocity continue to climb.
6/15/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 80-82, CB: 66-67
6-foot, 163-pound RHP had an impressive outing working two perfect innings while filling up the strike zone. Uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with regular effort, showed a decent jump in velocity from winter event, fastball showed occasional very good arm-side run that was effective against right-handed hitters, curveball showed significant improvement and has sharp 11/5 action located it in the strike zone, struck out two in his outing (both on FB’s).  Adams’ pitchability makes him a solid prospect, would not be surprised to see him make another jump in velocity.
1/24/16 - Max FB: 82, FB: 78-80, CB: 60-63, CH: 65-69,
6-foot, 160-pound RHP with lanky build, arm action is long and stabs some on the backside, works through a high3/4 slot with regular effort, fastball showed good, late sinking action when down in the zone, throws a slower curveball with gradual action that varied between 11/5 and 12/6, changeup is thrown with good arm action and shows some sink and deception off the fastball, fills up the strike zone with all three pitches.
