6-foot-3, 208-pound LHH starts upright and open and uses a more aggressive stride, quick and loose hands, really looks to attack and drive the baseball, flashes big pull-side power, has ability to drive the ball the other way to the left-center gap. Premium bat speed makes him one of the top power left-handed bats in the 2019 class. Moves well at first base to go along with soft hands. Arm strength could also play in the outfield as well.

Shows some athleticism with solid footwork around the first base bag, soft hands play well, made accurate throws. Nicholson is a power left-handed bat to keep a close eye on in the 2019 class.
