Big arm strength behind the plate at 82 mph, solid receiver, has room for quicker release, pop times ranged from 1.94-2.00.

7/15/14 - 5-foot-7,146-pound prospect participated as a catcher and 3B at the event, showed good arm strength at 78 mph from the crouch with pop times that ranged from 1.88-2.00, good setup behind the plate, very good receiving skills, athletic behind the plate.  As a 3B, showed soft hands with good lateral movement, uses short arm action with 79 mph arm strength across the infield.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride, hands are quick and uses lower half torque in swing, likes the ball middle-in with a pull approach, shows some pull-side power, ran 7.07 60 yard dash, 83 mph tee exit velocity.
