Comments
7/9/13 - 6-foot3, 195-pound prospect, very long and projectable frame, uses long arm action through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, extremely loose arm, shows on-line, repeatable mechanics, fastball sat 81-83 mph with good arm-side run, throws a power type slider with late bite that sat 76-78 mph, struggled some with command of the slider but it has the potential to be a swing and miss pitch, changeup is fairly straight at 76-78 mph thrown with good arm action. With his frame and loose arm, Scheer is highly projectable. It’s easy to see more velocity to come from him in the near future with the potential to be a high-level prospect in the 2015 class.
