In the infield he plays under control to the baseball, cutting distance off the bat. First step is quick and he moves light on his feet. Glove looks to be an above average tool for class. Actions remain outside funnel. A contact type bat from the right side. Swing is compact, showing line drive abilities to both sides. Stays inside the baseball well producing natural backspin to the middle/opposite field. Tools are developing and he has a knack for finding the barrel. On the bump the right-hander has nice rhythm to his delivery. Lower half creates energy and solid direction. Works through a ¾ slot with the fastball sitting 69-72 mph. The pitch will show consistent arm side action. Breaking ball is a loopier breaker that travels on a 12/6 plane at 56-58 mph. Also offers a changeup that has run and dive to it. Showcased solid feel for the offering that was consistently in the zone at 61-62 mph.
