6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame. On the mound, where he showed above average arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Used some effort in his delivery. Sat with his fastball at 79-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph; shows command around the zone with straight movement. Threw a 1/7 curveball (62-66) with gradual action and occasional command. His changeup (72-73) has fading action and some command.

6-foot-1, 180 pound LHP. Athletic frame with present strength. Good physical projection. Loose arm action works through a high-3/4 slot, normal effort. Quick arm. Showed a 5-8 mph jump in velocity since July 2019. Fastball worked 81-84, touching 86 on the first pitch of his bullpen. Occasional ASR. Locates curveball well at the bottom of the zone at 66-67 mph. Good spin on CB produces solid depth and 1/7 action. Has excellent feel for 73-75 mph changeup with sink and fade. Projects to command three pitches. Brunstetter has emerged as a top lefty in the 2022 class, one that will undoubtedly garner significant attention this spring.
