12/10/16 - 60 Time: 7.51, Position Velocity: IF-78, Exit Velocity: 79 6-foot-1, 160-pound, RHH hits from a more narrow and open stance, uses a smooth and longer stride with nothing more than a slight tilt of the barrel to get loaded, lower half gets in some good positions but doesn’t have much power yet, bat path is a little steep with a stronger top hand, tends to roll over on ground balls when he strays from a middle approach. Defensively, showed above-average hands and footwork in the infield, usually made an attempt to play through the ball, arm action was short and somewhat stiff through a ¾ slot.
12/10/16 - Max FB: 79, FB: 78-79, CH: 69-71, SL: 67-70 6-foot-1, 160-pound, RHP is quite athletic and begins his motion a little slower while building up to an accelerated finish, leg lift is high and gathers him at the very top before heading home, stride lands slightly closed and his quick arm action comes through a low ¾ release point, generally finishes well-balanced. Fastball showed some hard run through the zone, slider was almost more of a cutter with late but little movement, changeup had some fade and was kept down in the zone for strikes.
8/2/16 - 60 Time: 7.70, Position Velocity: IF-72, Exit Velocity: 75 6-foot-0, 150-pound hits from a balanced and open stance with a slight lean back into his back leg, uses some barrel movement and a short stride to get loaded, lower half gets through but is slow through the zone and doesn’t create the torque he’s capable of, has a very slight drift forward with his hips but counters it by staying on his backside, bat path comes in and out of the zone because of that movement and caused some topped ground balls. Defensively, attacks the ball well but comes to a stop before fielding and can field the ball a little too deep, hands and footwork were average and a short arm action through an almost sidearm slot produced average throws across the infield.
