Body Type: 6-foot, 176-pound projectable frame. Long lever type. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Works with good tempo on the bump and gets down the mound well. Efficient lower with intent to his delivery. Fastball: Ball comes out well. Fastball has late life, staying mostly true through the zone. Curveball: 11/5 shaped breaker that was a quality offering when down in the zone. Showed a tendency to leave the pitch up. Changeup: Impressive offering at times. Maintains arm speed before the pitch dropping off the table as it enters the zone. Pitchability: In/out. When he was in the zone stuff was really good. Role: TBD.
1/26/19 Body Type: 6-foot, 176-pound projectable frame. Long lever type. Swing Mechanics: Double tap timing trigger with minimal back load to hands. Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup type. Run: 4.71 H-1st. Field: Plays under control in the outfield, timing feet well to play through ball efficiently. Ball skills on par for class. Throw: Throws were firm and on target. Topped at 81 mph to home plate. Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.
1/27/18 6-foot, 145 pound outfielder with good size performed well in the event with his quick feet and ability to get in a good position to field and release the ball home quickly and efficiently. Bladock’s glove looked solid and he did a nice job of staying low through the groundballs and taking good momentum into his throws home with a velocity of 74 mph. His right-handed swing was level and firm with good pop producing an 80 mph exit velo. At times his front side opened early causing him to pull of some pitches and miss squaring up but most his swings resulted in line drives more pull-side. Athletic body that will advance in the next coming years.
