Speed: 6.87 (60-yard).
6/23/20
6-foot-4, 170 pound LHH SS impressed with his athleticism. Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride. Loose hands produce barrel whip through the zone. Works the middle of the field with consistent line drive contact. Flashes occasional gap power. Should continue to see power side of offensive game develop as he fills out his long/lanky frame. Ran 7.08 60-yard dash with 87 mph exit velocity during BP. Athletic defensive actions with good lateral movement. Soft hands with a longer exchange. Arm strength currently at 78 mph has room to continue to improve. A definite high follow in the 2023 class.
5/4/18 At the plate, the left hander uses an athletic stance with bat set away from body. Gains ground with stride that separates lower/upper half well. Swings through the zone at a leveled plane. Ball comes off well, generating much more pop than frame would suggest. Look for bat to go from consistent to dynamic as he adds strength with maturity. Runs well and looks to be an above average defender up the middle as well. Young, talented kid to follow.
