Adams is an athletic and physical 5-foot-11, 185-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.30 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During batting practice, Adams starts in an athletic stance, simple load, some rhythm with hands, flat bat path, remains balanced throughout swing, showed pop to left field during round. In the outfield, Adams has good actions, fluid footwork, long arm with carry to the baseball, high three-quarter release, accurate throws, positional velo of 81 mph.

10/20/18 – Adams is a 5-foot-10, 174-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 recruiting class out of Maize HS in Wichita, KS. He ran a 7.27 second 60, 4.42 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 88 mph which was the highest recorded at the event. At the plate, Adams starts tall in an upright stance with a narrow base, slight leg lift into load, in line stride, quick hands, level bat path, repeatable swing. Defensively, Adams shows above average actions, attacks the baseball, long arm action, over the top release, positional velocity of 72 mph, fairly accurate throws.

10/22/17 - Adams is a 5-foot-10 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 7.64 60 and a 4.94 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 72 mph. At the plate, starts slightly open, short stride, quick bat speed, swing produced mostly pull side contact during batting practice, body stays under control during swing.  In the outfield, 77 mph positional veto, three quarters release, quick to the ball, work behind and through the catch, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Adams has an over the top release, throws with regular effort, smooth tempo, creates direction towards the plate as he gets down the mound, fastball at 69-71 mph, some on a down hill plane, breaking ball has gradual 11-to-5 action, 64-66 mph.
