2016 All AVCTL-II - Honorable Mention

7/19/16 - Bundy is a 5-foot-11 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher and shortstop in Kansas’ 2017 class.  He ran a 7.27 60 and a 4.51 home-to-first.  He has an 86 mph exit velo. At the plate, flashed pull power in batting practice, loose hands with level path through hitting zone, simple and repeatable swing, no wasted movement.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.00 and 2.07-seconds, quick catch and throw, 65 mph positional velo, aggressive with quick actions, athletic frame, accurate throws. On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid footwork working with hands and transfer, mostly accuarate throws.

6/28/16- Bundy is a 5-foot-10 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher and middle infielder. Bundy ran a 7.15 60, a 4.80 home to first and posted a 85 mph exit velo.  During batting practice, he showed a gap-to-gap approach with pull power and some pop to the opposite field. Bundy has an easy repeatable swing, retreats to his backside and creates leverage with his lower half.  During catching evaluations, he posted pop times between 1.92 and 2.01, making him the quickest at the showcase, and positional velo of 74-76 mph. Behind the plate Bundy has a clean exchange, over the top release and plus footwork. On the infield Bundy has fluid footwork, stays down well and has a positional velo topping at 79 mph. Athletic class of 2017 catching prospect.

2/20/16 - Bundy is a 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman in Kansas’ 2017 class from Andover HS.  He ran a 4.44 home-to-first and has an exit velo of 87 mph. At the plate, open stance, short in-line stride, loose hands, gap-to-gap approach, repeats swing.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.96 and 2.27, 76 mph positional velo, short over the top release, quick exchange with fluid footwork. On the infield, 79 mph positional velo, over the top release, clean transfer with fluid footwork, fields ball in athletic position.
