8/17/14 - Sloan is a long-legged, athletic-framed 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-hand pitcher.  Simple and under control early, tall balance point, strides slightly across body, three-quarters slot, short arm action, strides inline, athletic finish.  Easy delivery, balance throughout.  Works down with fastball - sinking and cutting action.  Breaking ball has 11/5 shape, tight spin at times, 61-63 mph.  Change-up 68-69.  Athletic righty with easy arm, both predictors of future velocity jump.

8/17/14 - Sloan is a long-legged, athletic-framed 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-hand hitting shortstop.  Balanced set up at the plate, inline stance, leg kick, strides inline, smooth hand load, level bat path, extension through the baseball, loose hands, back side in sync, easy swing, 83 mph exit velocity.  4.53 home to first base, 7.06 60-yard dash time.  In the infield showed athletic actions, fielded everything cleanly, quick exchanges, easy low three-quarters arm action, 79 mph throwing velocity, very accurate throws.  Does everything on the field with easy, athletic actions and has a projectable frame with plenty of room to fill out.
