10/28/18 - Fergus is a 5-foot-8 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.39 60 and a 4.27 home to first.  He has a 75 mph exit velocity. At the plate, short and compact swing, starts in a tall and thin stance, controlled leg kick, short stride, loose hands generate quick bat speed, mostly middle to pull side contact during hitting evals. In the outfield, 77 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, controlled actions with smooth glove to hand transfer, feet work behind and through the ball, mostly accurate throws. At the plate, thin stance, leg kick, some hand load, loose hands generate quick bat speed, some lift to bat plane, swing produced constant line drives gap to gap.  In the outfield, 76 mph positional velocity, high three quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw, momentum through the catch, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws.
