5/31/16 - Abrahamson is a 5-foot-9 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.34 60 and got down the line in 4.68-seconds.  He has an 88 mph exit velo, one of the top among LHH. At the plate, takes and aggressive swing, loose hands, quick bat speed, some power to pull side, gap-to-gap approach, open stance, short stride, repeats, singled to left in game action.  In the outfield, high three quarters release, quick to the ball, works behind and plays through the catch, mostly accurate throws, 79 mph positional velo. On the mound, Abrahamson had a good inning of work, throwing a high percentage of strikes with fastball and curveball, challenged hitters, showed ability to work glove side, simple and repeatable delivery, works quick between pitches, over the top release, tuck at balance point, works fastball on different planes, fastball at 75-78 mph, breaking ball has 1-to-7 shape, some late breaking with sharp movement, 62-66 mph, change up with slight arm side sink 71 mph.

2/20/16 - Abrahamson is a 5-foot-10 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class from Lawrence Free State HS. He had an exit velo of 82 mph and ran a 4.56 home-to-first. At the plate, starts in open stance, slightly close stride, level path through hitting zone, quick hands, showed feel for the barrel, swing produced consistent line drives to middle/pull side of cage. In the outfield, 73 mph positional velo, over the top arm slot, quick catch and throw, loose arm action.
