Under control pace early, tucks at balance with low knee lift, gets extension down the mound, finishes square. Fastball 82-84 mph, most with arm-side run. Hard breaking ball 74-75 mph. Showed feel for change-up, threw at bottom of the strike zone, 79-80 mph. Solid class of 2017 follow with room to fill out physically.

Joe is a 6'1 180-pound right hand hitting outfielder and right handed pitcher from Shawnee Mission Northwest. Sees the ball well in the outfield fields everything cleanly with good exchanges and mostly accurate throws with top positional velo of 84 mph. Is a strong runner posting a 7.35 60/yd. Uses a wide stance and a reverse toe tap for timing and quick hands through the zone for a 81 exit velo and two singles in the game.
