2/12/17 - Wagner is a 6-foot 180-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.43 laser timed 60 and a 4.22 home to first.  He has a 90 mph exit velo with a long limbed frame that would suggest a strength increase as he continues to develop.  At the plate, starts open with high hands, has rhythm from pre-swing to load, short bat path to contact, quick and aggressive bat speed, flashed pull side power. On the infield, 83 mph positional velo, short high three quarters release, loose arm action, fluid footwork to the ball, momentum after the catch, clean exchange, accurate throws. On the mound, Wagner has a controlled delivery and clean arm action, throws a high number of strikes, fastball works 80-82 mph, some with arm side run, curveball has 11-to-5 action, 70-72 mph, has depth, change up at 72-75 mph, near fastball arm speed, flashing arm side run.

5/31/16 - Wagner is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed hitting third-baseman in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.33 60 and has a home-to-first time of 4.84-seconds.  His exit velo is 78 mph.  At the plate, open stance, some hand load, loose hands create bat whip, level path, gap-to-gap approach, repeats swing.  On the infield, 79 mph positional velo, one of the top infield velos on the day, three quarters arm slot, plays through the ball, made all plays cleanly, fluid footwork, accurate throws with carry.
