6/27/17 - Nekola is a 6-foot 165-pound right-handed outfielder and pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class. He ran a 7.22 laser timed 60 and a 4.34 home to first. At the plate, Nekola shows an upright posture, athletic stance, simple load with hands and a toe tap, smooth swing, short stride and 85 mph exit velo. In the outfield, he showed good actions, quick arm action, positional velo of 81 mph and mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Nekola shows tempo in his delivery, accelerates down the mound, quick arm action, repeats, FB has run to arm side between 78-82 mph and thrown for a high percentage of strikes, CB showed gradual 11-to-5 bite at 65-67 mph and the changeup proved to be effective at 74-75 mph with arm side run and thrown near fastball arm speed.
5/31/16 - Nekola is a 5-foot-11 155-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.35 60 and a 4.40 home-to-first. He has a 78 mph exit velo. At the plate, smooth rhythm, short stride, swing produced line drives to the middle to opposite side of field during batting practice, hands work inside ball, feel for the barrel, singled to center and tripled to left center in game action. In the outfield, 81 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, long arm circle, works behind the and throught he ball, loose arm action, throw have carry and are mostly accurate. On the mound, Nekola worked the knees of the zone with fastball at 75-78 mph, some with late running action, curveball has 12-to-6 action, 60-65 mph, some with late movement, over the top release, strike thrower, smooth tempo, loose arm action, repeats.

11/1/15 - Nekola is a 5-foot-10 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  Nekola ran a 7.13 60 and a 4.65 home-to-first. At the plate, 74 mph exit velo, thin and open stance, in line stride, level path through contact, gap-to-gap approach, balanced finish.  In the outfield, high three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action, quick footwork creating momentum through the catch, quick catch and release, 77 mph positional velo, throws were near bag. On the mound, Nekola worked his fastball at 72-75 mph, over-the-top release, works both sides of plate, change up at 66-67, slight sink, near fastball arm speed, curveball has gradual 11-to-5 break, 59 mph, slow and controlled windup, throws with regular effort, slender from with quick arm speed.
6/2/15 - Connor is a 5'10" 145-pound right hand hitting outfielder and right handed pitcher from Mill Valley. Moves to the ball in the outfield well, fielded everything hit to him and made clean exchanges and accurate throws with a velo of 73 mph. On the mound, gets to his balance point, separate his hands and goes to the plate. Short arm action from a high 3/4 slot produced a fastball range of 73-74 mph and a max fastball of 74 mph. During BP showed several good hard contacts using a toe tap timing and a long swing from a athletic stance with a exit velo of 76 mph.
