Started in a tall stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride to start his swing. Has upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. While catching, he had a pop time of 2.20-2.30, he produced a position velocity of 69 mph during throw downs; had soft hands, developing footwork and a lengthy exchange. Wide setup with some flexibility. Used a short arm action with an-over-the-top slot. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.84 60-yard dash. Above average on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed athletic balance point and even shoulders.
