Body: 6-foot, 180-pound slim frame

Hit: Begins in a tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick before his swing. Efficient bat speed. Level finish, flat swing. 

Power: 88 mph exit velocity. gap to gap approach. 

Defense: Infield, Raw hands, consistent footwork, developing exchange. Raw. 

Arm: 76 Infield velocity. Long arm action, slot, some accuracy. 

Speed: 7.99

Pitching: Smooth. Drop-and-drive delivery, some effort. High arm angle, some arm speed, long arm action. Tall balance point, even shoulders, lands square, a falling off finish.

FB: T82. 78-81 mph. Running action, around the zone accuracy, straight movement. 

CB: 68-71 mph. Sinking action, low in the zone control, 12/6 movement. 

CH: 72-73 mph. Fading action, low in the zone control, straight movement. 

SL: 70-73 mph. Sinking action, in the zone command, 12/6 movement. 

The 5-foot-11, 165 pound right handed pitcher started on the mound for Nitro on Friday against Pro Player Canes. He throws from a arm slot and the action is clean and short. He has a drop and drive delivery and finishes by landing square. His fastball showed some arm side run and sat 76-78 mph, topped at 79 mph. His curveball showed 11/5 shape and was 66-69 mph. Changeup sat between 70-74 mph and was thrown for strikes. Todd also batted second in the lineup and went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He has a balanced setup and a fluid swing.

2/23/2019: Zackary Todd, 3B/RHP, Wes-Del HS, 2022, 5 foot 11, 165 pounds, is an interesting two way guy with a clean arm and good bat path. Uses leg lift to load at the plate and creates good separation when his foot lands. Had an exit velo of 79 mph. Threw 82 across the diamond from 3rd base with average feet and release. On the mound the arm swing is clean and he throws from a high slot. FB was 77-79, CB 68-71, and CH sat 72-74. Once he figures out how to use his lower half on the mound his velo should start to climb.

9/30/18: 2022 3B average 5’11 165 lbs frame. Hits from the right side. Uses fast leg kick as timing trigger. Showed ability to hit line drives all over the field. Swing path showed some up hill through the zone. Posted an exit velo of 79. Smooth footwork and soft hands make for a good defensive infielder for age. Showed above average arm strength that will build with age. Posted 82 across the diamond.

7/24/18:  2022 3B/RHP hits from the right side. Narrow tall setup in the box. Uses quick leg lift as trigger. Bat path is level to slightly uphill through the zone. Showed line drive ability and used the whole field. Posted an exit velo of 78. In the INF played through the baseball, fielded everything out in front. Arm strength across the diamond was 76. On the mound pitches from high arm slot. Arm action is long and loose. Repeats delivery well and stays in line throughout. FB sat 74-77 T78 with occasional life. CB flashed potential at 66-71.
