2/17/18:  6-foot-1, 184 pound right-handed pitcher has a drop and drive delivery with good tempo down the mound.  Loose arm swing into 3/4 slot.  Stride is slightly open, gets firm over front leg.  Fastball sat 82-83 for strikes.  Change-up is best pitch, showing late depth and arm side run.  Breaking ball has 11/5 shape at 68-71.  Showcased adjusted timing variation in wind-up, controlled well.

6/13/17:  6-foot-1, 170 pound pitcher showcased feel for 3 pitches in game from a drop and drive type delivery.  Fastball sat 80-81 with slight run to arm side.  Change-up has late depth, arm side run at 74-76.  Breaking ball showed some depth 69-71 with 11/5 shape.  Pitches from a high 3/4 slot with rhythm down the mound.  Firm front side, athletic finish. 

2017 Spring Scout Blog:  6-foot-1, 170 pounder sat 82-84, touching 85 with the fastball.  Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with some late depth at 70-73.  Change-up has arm-side fade at 74-75.  Worked ahead in counts, commanded zone with multiple pitches.  Good balance and rhythm, lands squared, finishes athletically.  

9/18/16:  6-foot-1, 165 pound right-handed pitcher has a slight inward turn with some rhythm on the mound.  Fastball sat 79-82 with slight run to his arm side.  Change-up has showed flashes of late depth at 73-76.  Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with gradual break with good feel for the strike zone.  Lanky frame with room to fill in.  

Defensively, hands are sure with flat, fluid footwork.  Transfer is quick with a short arm action.  Throws were accurate.  Plays with some athleticism.  At the plate, hands load back with a leg kick and heavy front foot.  Bat path is short and tends to get in and out of the zone.  Bat speed is above average.  Some barrel awareness and a line drive approach.

6/22/15: 5-foot-11, 140 pounds, pitches from a long, high ¾ arm action with average arm speed. Drop and drive delivery with some effort. Uphill shoulders, stays in line to the plate. Lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball has occasional run and sink at 67-70. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape at 53-54. Changeup was 61 mph. In the field possesses sure hands with fluid foot work. Lacks elite foot speed. Exchange was clean and plays through the baseball. Across the diamond was 61 mph. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup and loads back. Leg kick, some use of the lower half. Average balance and average bat speed. Short path to the baseball produced line drives during BP. Stiffness in his rhythm. Recorded a high exit velocity of 84 mph.
